Over a year later and with minimal activity.
Sorry about that. A series of real-life factors over the course of late-2014 and 2015 thus far stymied my efforts to write as much as I'd like and dampened my motivation. That said, as I'm preparing for college thus coming school year and moving, I'll probably be out of writing for a bit longer.
However, I have absolutely zero intention of giving up or shelving any of my stories. PMD: Overthrown will be returning, however, it will not be quite the same as before. I've had a long time to think things through plot-wise and I really think that what I'm doing now is right for the story. I hope you all will enjoy when the time comes.
Transcending the Abyss is still very much in my thoughts and in Tom's. We've tried to work on it as often as time permitted, though, coupled with the factors from before and the fact that we have to coordinate our time to fit two very different schedules, it's slow going. But, fear not! Finn, Sam, and the others are not forgotten and will not be left unattended to.
Operation: Saltus Valley is probably my most active story in terms of me actually writing/revising material for it. I'm currently using it to get back into the swing of writing since it is a shorter narrative. I'm currently doing some mostly-small edits to the first four chapters that make O:SV's story fit better into the plans I have for Overthrown, as it takes place in Overthrown's world. So, expect to see Jack and Kida again soon!
I have another small project in the works along the line of O: SV in that it's a shorter narrative when compared to Overthrown or TtA. Hopefully it'll get me back into the swing of writing, like O:SV. It's a unique story that I hope that all my watchers will enjoy.
In other news, I've been good. Like I said before, life has been incredibly busy for me these past several months. I am struggling with motivation to write, even though I have plots that I really do want to write... But, with help from several close friends and a writing group, I'm getting back on my feet. I do start college soon, so there will be some obvious delays coming from that as I aim to focus hard on my studies and getting a part-time job to help cover the expenses of living away from home.
I apologize for the lack of communication here through journals, but, as some know, I do answer most comments and notes I get. So, if you wish to talk to me about anything writing related or just want to chat, I'm open and regularly checking my notifications on dA.
I hope to be back soon and better than ever before!
